User Profile Mint, Updation, Data Ownership & Rights
A user's identity is represented by a Soulbound Token (SBT), implemented as a dynamic NFT whose metadata reflects the user's Verified Reputation Score. The user retains ownership of their identity, which is fully interoperable with KGeN's Verified Reputation System.
User: Data Ownership & Rights
KGeN Engage enables users to participate, contribute, earn, and redeem rewards across the KGeN ecosystem. (Refer to the KGeN Engage chapter.)
KGeN acts as a data fiduciary on behalf of its users. As part of this responsibility, user data is classified into three categories:
PII Data: Profile information consisting of user-created/submitted and user-inferred data.
Activity Data: Data generated through a user's activities and participation across the KGeN platform.
Derived Data: Data generated through KGeN's analytical operations and processing.
KGeN's data governance framework is designed to provide users with the following rights:
1. Right to Control Third-Party Data Access
1.1 Decide which data can be shared with AI labs, brands, developers, and ecosystem partners.
1.2 Decide which data is made public (on-chain vs. off-chain).
2. Right to Monetise Data
2.1 Decide which categories of AI labs, brands, developers, and ecosystem partners can access their data.
2.2 Choose whether to opt into commercial opportunities on the platform.
3. Right to Data Portability
3.1 Permissionlessly port user-owned data to another ecosystem, subject to the applicable framework and criteria.
4. Right to First-Party Data Analysis
4.1 Grant KGeN permission to analyse data for platform operations, product improvement, and commercial purposes.
5. Right to Delete Data
5.1 Request deletion of collected and stored data. This right applies to PII Data and does not extend to Activity Data or Derived Data.
